Lyceum

A school for founders who want to be more than managers.

What separates a manager-CEO running an enterprise from a legendary founder? We think the first is an employee-in-chief and the second is a prophet. Lyceum is for founders and future founders who want to make that crossing.

The School of Athens by Raphael, philosophers gathered under a vaulted arch, tinted in brick red
01

Prophets

Not operators of the thing that exists, but founders of the thing that does not yet. The difference is a stance, and it can be learned.

02

Philosophy

Plato, Nietzsche, Strauss, Girard. Lyceum's founders are scholars of political philosophy, and the school puts those teachings to work inside startups.

03

Founders

A small Signal group of founders and future founders of venture-backed companies, reading and seeking the truth together while they build.
